You can find that page listed as Game Locations in that section, and you might find some of the stats there interesting.

You can also select a rink from the list to see all the games played there as well.

Give it a look and see what rink averages the most penalties per game. You'll be surprised to know it's not the one you think it is.

The concept was that members would earn "money" or basically credits for every post they started, replied to, referred new members, etc. Those credits could then be used to select little forum extras like Avatars and sound clips and so forth.

After a couple of years now I decided to drop the credits portion and make everything available to all members. Once you're signed up, go to "My Profile" and find the link named "Item Shop" to browse through and select whatever you want. Anything you select there can be found on your "My Items" page, also available from your profile menu.

Also, if there is anything, within reason, that you want to be made available for yourself or for everyone that goes along with what you see available now, don't hesitate to send it to me.

You can get the rules here, but the short of it is you get to make picks for each Blackhawks game whether they're going to win or lose, and we keep track who's got the most correct choices.

It sounds easy if you just put "lose, lose, lose" for every game, but give it a shot anyway.

This new section contains the up-to-date Metro Central Varsity standings, as well as sections for viewing game results and schedules, team listings, and coming soon, head-to-head game previews.

To hold you over until the 2006-07 action gets underway, be sure to check out the stats from the previous seasons that are currently available. You can see where the teams finished in the past two seasons, including regular season and playoffs.

As with the Photo and Video Discussions, only registered members of the site can post comments, so be sure to sign up if you haven't already.

I'm also planning on adding a quick list of the recent game discussions on the home page, so look for that soon as well. In the meantime, here's the forum with all the existing game summaries and discussions.

For those of you that aren't familiar with what those options are, they allow you to select certain topics here in the forums that you would like track via your member profile. Whenever posts are made in a thread you've subscribed to, you're supposed to get an email if you've turned on that option (although I don't remember if it's working).

Favorites just allow you to see in one place all the topics that you've selected and whenever updates have been made. To view your favorites and subscriptions, go to the My Profile section. To add a topic as a subscription or a favorite, use the links at the beginning of the top when you're viewing it.

Here's a quick list of what was added:

Four Year Players highlights those individuals that have skated all four seasons of their high school careers with the Nighthawks.

The Century Club lists those players who have logged more than 100 games in black and gold.

The 100 Point Club showcases the talented skaters that hit the 100 point milestone while skating with us.

The 2:00 Club is reserved for those we honor for giving us so many opportunities to practice our penalty kill game after game.
